Brea Baker is the Principal at Better Stories Now LLC, a boutique communications firm telling newer and more dynamic stories about the Black community. There she consults with nonprofits and philanthropic foundations on communications and digital strategy.
Prior to this, Brea led crisis management and social impact marketing strategies for Hollywood studios and storytellers while serving as the Chief Equity Officer at Inspire Justice, a social impact firm and creative agency. There, she advised entertainment and media industry leaders on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and anti-racism in storytelling through media trainings, script reviewing, and political education around in-house content and objectives. In this role, Brea also connected progressive influencers to political campaigns, including mutual aid programs, Los Angeles ballot measure initiatives, and Bernie Sanders’ 2020 presidential run.
